A Little More About Me.
My Work.
I am the Area Director for Richfield Young Life and work in a collaboration with Hope Church building partnerships with the community, the schools, and other organizations who advocate for youth.
My Family.
I live in Richfield, MN with my wife Kate and two daughters Caliah Mae (2 years old) and Cora Louise (9 months old).
My Story.
My parents moved to the US from the Philippines in 1973. I was born a few years later in Minnesota. Growing up Filipino, in a predominantly white suburb, with a fully Spanish name created a lot of confusion. I spent a lot of time trying to fit in and meet the expectations of others. Because I didn't feel like I fit in anywhere, I kind of fit in everywhere.
I've grown to be confident in the very thing that led to a lot of insecurity growing up. I've learned how to embrace my uniqueness and double down on my identity. I want to use my journey of self-discovery to help others awaken to the power of who they are. I want to use my platform to inspire others to live life to the full and encourage others to bring life to a world that is hungry for hope.
